Herpes update
Ok so i was diagnosed with herpes simplex 1 earlier n my pregnancy. From then on i have been taking the valtrex prescribed to me. But i had been getting cracks in my skin between my vagina and rectum. It was just itchy and sore a little. I had some cracks the other night and started crying because its getting closer to my due date and i was thinking i was having a breakout so i started looking up herpes breakouts and stuff and didnt look like anything i had down there. So i went to my ob yesterday and she took a look and said I was fine i have yeast which is very common during pregnancy and the cracks come from me being sensitive down there and also wiping too hard. I was so relieved because this whole time i thought i was having breakouts. I havent had a breakout since i been diagnosed. I really thank God because that was one of my pain stresses. BUT i will still take the mediation just to be on the safe side.
