Did you go over due date?

I have 3 days until my due date and I have a feeling I'm going to go over. How far did you doctor let you go before inducing?

I went until 41weeks. And would have kept going but my doctor said it can be dangerous to go any longer.

My last pregnancy I was overdue! My due date was June 2! My doctor actually wanted to induce me the following Monday but I went in labor that Saturday and had my son that Sunday June 8!

My doctor induces a week after your due date. He use to wait up until 2 weeks but for some reason he switched it.

They let me decide to induce after the due date when I was ready. They wouldn't let me go past 2 weeks. I didn't want to be induced due to being afraid of pitocin and the horror stories about it and my water broke 4 days after the due date. I had her 4 days after.

I just asked my midwife about this yesterday and she said they will go 10 days past due date before inducing - as long as everything is good. She said after about 3 days past due they will do small things to help like a sweep etc. but every doc/midwife is different

I went 9 days past my due date before my doctor said I couldn't go any longer. I was scheduled to be induced at 9am, but labor finally started at 4am so I didn't have to be induced. I was induced with my son 3 days before his due date because I was so uncomfortable. I think it depends on your doctor, and what you want, and sometimes it depends on laws. There are states that don't let doctors induce before a certain time if the pregnancy is healthy.
