Housing issues

I don't know if I'm posting in the right bit but here goes, I'm 6 months pregnant and living in the world's smallest 1 bedroom flat with my partner and he has his 4 daughters stay over at weekends  so we decided to apply for a 3 bedroom house all we needed was a reference from our current landlord, finally it came through today but we found out that our housing association officer lied on our reference saying we only pay £98 a month rent when its actually £405 a month, also that we owe  £495 in arrears which we don't and said we were served a notice of possession back in October which we did but that was due to a misunderstanding and was actually sorted and the housing association told us to ignore the letter. But now we can't get hold of the housing officer to correct the reference so we are stuck in this flat, anyone got any advice in what I can do? Thanks and my apologies for the long post.

I have our tenancy agreement showing how much we pay and receipts of every payment made for rent, our problem is getting the landlord to correct the reference otherwise we will lose out on the house we want and the 170 application fee that we paid

You sgould try going to the actual housing office nearest you. Tell them what happened and if you can show proof of what you actually pay and receipts or something showing the amount you all pay. They should fix the issue.
