Hello!  Are there any Houston mothers?   When are you due..

Im due Oct 30 but getting induced a week early because of my diabetes and blood pressure..my son Jordan will be born at Methodist Willowbrook...

Ok..I feel better...I can do this!! Im definately gonna request an epidural!! Im a wuss and cant handle pain too much. Im terrified of a c section. .I dont care if they numb u lol the thought of being awake while they cut scares me lol. My mom said back in the 80s they put her to sleep but I dont think they do that now unless its an emergency. I can do this...I can do this....woooo saaaa lol

Yeah it's been miserably hot! I'm starting to swell a little in my ankles! I hate the heat! I had my first baby in the middle of August and it was awful. Now I'm having a winter baby so I'm pretty darn excited! Awww hun it'll be ok!! It's easier to just not think about it! Trust me! It'll happen either way lol so you just gotta keep positive! I pushed for 3 hours with no pain meds and wouldn't ever do it again! I had the epidural in my back (it's a drip now) but they wouldn't give me any actual meds through it! I was so pissed! Finally after 3 hours of trying my hardest, I gave up and begged for a csection. They finally pushed some medicine through the epidural drip and I was in heaven! Lol! It's really not as horrible as you imagine. And like you said, once you hear that sweet tiny cry, you forget about everything!

I cant wait for the cool weather!! Either tomorrow or monday it is suppose to be cooler! Im a first time mom and I am terrified of the whole birthing idea. I know when I finally hear him cry and see his face..ill forget all about the pain

Awww thanks! Yes that hospital is awesome! I had my first (a boy) at St. Joseph's and I'll never go back there. It wasn't the hospital, it was my Dr, but still..I had such a horrifying experience there that I just can't go back. Congrats to both of you!! It won't be much longer until it cools off outside! Yippppeeee!

I'm from Houston also and I'm due January 10th with a baby girl. I'll be having my princess at St. Joseph. Congrats ladies! :)

Awww! You're so close! I am having my baby girl via csection on December 20th at Memorial Herman across from memorial city mall. I'm so excited! =)
