Is it a constant pain or does it come and go? Some women feel the contractions on their backs and others feel it in the lower part of their tummies, like really bad, uncomfortable and painful cramps. With my two previous deliveries I felt them in the lower part of my tummy and I knew I was in true labor when they were only 5 to 6 minutes apart for about an hour and they were getting stronger and stronger each time. They wouldn't go away no matter what I did, stand, sit, lay, bounce on a yoga ball, nothing would help. That's how I knew I was in true labor. False labor contractions will diminish or go away after changing positions or walking.
I would at least call the doctor or the on call nurse and explain to them whats going on. If u do decide to go to the hospital, what they'll do is check your cervix n see if ur dilated.
Or should I go to the hospital
