depression

I was wondering have any of you ladies had depression and after giving birth did it continue and turn into postpartum depression?

Hey, I had  depression for a few years and then, kinda got better, than diagnosed with premenstrual dysphoric disorder. Doctors tried to treat with all kind of drugs.  In the end, diet, lifestyle,  exercise&supplements like simple fish oil, zinc and magnesium helped a lot more.  You do have cause for concern though, people with existing or previous depression are at higher risk of post partum depression. Make sure you eat well,  rest well and try to exercise. :)

Yea it *****..i can feel fine and out of no where i just get all sad and than my day is ruined sometimes it even leads to the next day too. Thanks though hopefully everything gets better for you as well.

I feel you on the depression part! But this is my first and havent given birth yet so i cant really answer your question:( hopefully everything gets better for you
