How does your body feel before delivery?

I'm supposed to be induced on Thursday (39 weeks) but am wondering if it's possible he might come before then because I've been having period like aches and numbing around my thighs the past day or two. No contractions felt yet, but just feel "off" and a little queasy. Has anyone felt something similar before delivery? Ftm, and so far never felt a contraction, not even braxton Hicks before...not sure what to expect or feel when delivery gets close.

I had my daughter almost 7 weeks ago, a day after her due date. Before I had her, I could barely feel the braxton hicks contractions, and they weren't painful at all. On my due date, I noticed the contractions started feeling like period cramps and thought I would have her, but they went away until the next morning. I woke up cause of a big contraction, sat up out of bed and my water broke. I was holding her exactly 12 hours later. Good luck to all of you, you're almost there!

I'm 36 weeks and have been feeling the exact same way the past 3 days I've just felt like something's different my contractions have gotten more painful but not occurring in any kind of pattern or getting closer together. I've been nauteaus every time I lay down I feel like I'm going to throw up and my little man seems to be sitting so low he's still moving but not on the schedule or for as long as he usually does. I'm already 2cm dilated and my ob doesn't think I'll make it to my due date hopefully he's here soon I really don't like this feeling
