If your pregnancy is normal, meaning your not high risk or haven't not had any previous pregnancy problem you usually only get one. With our son I had my first ultrasound at 20 weeks, when I found out the gender. This pregnancy I had one at almost 6 weeks as I had an ectopic pregnancy in feb so they wanted to make sure everything was in the right place.
Most insurances only cover one. Unless your high risk.
in da uk u get 1 at 12wks n 1 at 20wks thts it unless u r consultant led x
It depends on your insurance and whether the consider you I high risk. I'm not considered high risk so I get 1 every trimester.
I had one at 6wks to confirm, then again at 9wks(1st trimester screening), 13wks for the down syndrome screening (which is by choice ) and go later today for my 18wk (anomaly screening )
I get one every 4 weeks until im 36 weeks and then every week till birth. If you are high risk you get even more
You should get a scan at 12 weeks to check babies growth and if any defects etc... then again around 19-21 weeks to check all that again and that's normally when you find out the gender aswell :)
U should be getting the downsyndrome test any day now by blood and by ultrasound to measure the liquid in the spine not sure if mines was at 9-12weeks
u suppose to have 1 every 4 wks until you are 28wks then its every 2 wks til your 36wks then weekly after that point
Most do one at the beginning, 20 weeks and only one after that if it's needed
I had my second one at 20 weeks. That's usually the next one you get. It's the anatomyscan and you will get to find out the sex. It was awesome because my first one looked like a blob then on the second one she was so much bigger and you could see all of her features and see her moving
Hasn't your doctor scheduled your next one yet? It depends on your doc and insurance but my understanding is generally you have one early to confirm, one around 12 weeks as a first trimester screen, one around 20 weeks as a second trimester screen... Not sure after that, I'm not in my third trimester yet but I expect one more.
Depends on the doctor. I got one every 4 weeks but i heard some have only one per trimester.
