2 cm dilated!!!
Woah, it's getting so real! I am 2 cm dilated and doctor said if she doesn't come on her own, he wants me to be induced this weekend!! Will probably see if he can at least hold off until Monday. So my boyfriend will be able to be there.. So excited nonetheless! I am 38 weeks 1 day.
Ultrasounds aren't very accurate in guessing the baby's weight. They told me my baby was gonna be between 7-8 lbs at birth. She was barely over 6.
He also wants to induce because baby is about 6 to 6 and a half pounds and I'm very small so if she gets too big it would end in c section and maybe complications. I completely trust my doctor. Even though it's my first baby, he has been doing the best for the baby and i:)
I was induced first pregnancy, no complications. When I went in I was only 3cm and 80% effaced. It really is nice to be im control of your labor. I'm really hoping to be induced at 39 weeks this pregnancy also. It all depends on your doctor. I trust my doctor, he delivered my first and is very reputable. If your doctor felt you or your baby were not ready they would not allow it. Everyone is different and has their own opinions on the matter
You don't have to be induced of you don't want to be. You can let baby come on it's own instead. Less chance of ending in a c section that way.
