How to prepare myself!!!!!

Im 38 weeks tomorrow and asking to be induced how long does it take and how can i prepare myself for it

I personally would double think it as it can cause really bad stress and end up a csection.  I understand hes cramped but you'll be okay.  And the recovery time is crazy.  6 weeks roughly compared to 6 months  of healing a big cut let alone god forbid a staff infection. Anyways it does take long process so be patient when it starts don't let them rush you by upping the meds very painful and intense!  Good luck

I had both my kids induced it just takes time be patient when it starts. And to prepare you Umm eat as much as you can before you go in there because once they start it you can't eat or drink anything!! Good luck :)

Because my baby hurts when he move really bad and yesterday i went to the e.r and they did a ultrasound and said that he cramped up in there

Why are you asking to be induced, I've never heard of it being an elective procedure.

You can't estimate how long it will take because everyone is different. I had to be induced, dilated and they broke my water. I went in at 6 pm on a Saturday and on Sunday afternoon I stopped dilating at 5 cm. They ended up having to do an emergency c section. This is not to scare you, but yo let you know how everyone's experience can differ.
