I'm 39 weeks already

39weeks and still no baby no contractions nothing cervix is still at a 1cm.. I'll be 40weeks next Wednesday on the 18 what can I do to start the contractions???

I'm right there with you. I'll be 40 weeks on the 19th. I went to my Dr appointment on Thursday and I was 4cm opened to on Friday I went walking and had sex and I got contractions that night, so I figured baby was coming ,nope!!!contractions stopped. I started my day today with a walk and ended it with a warm bath but still no baby. Ugh!!! I feel you.

Yes girl I just wanna have my daughter already but she's being stubborn to come out.. I had sex and walked did some cleaning and still nothing..

What i did was dancing. I dance zumba on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday i started feeling something. So i was not able to dance on Wednesday and Thursday morning i started having period pain. Around 12 noon i lose my plug and by 1pm i told my husband that we need to go to hospital coz d period pain is getting worse. By 2 15pm i had my son on my due date. 31st/12/15. So i will say dance

Yup that's what I told my bf, I've really never went pass 39 weeks I had my daughter at 37 weeks and my son at 38weeks

Drink red leaf tea- or hook the breast pump up to your boobs for 10 minutes intervals- that will stimulate contractions.  Also evening primrose oil-poke a hole in the top and out 2-4 in your vaginal canal nightly it will soften your cervix.  Have your OB strip your membranes it will help stimulate labor!

Ugh. Tried that with my second. Only thing it did was put me in the bathroom all day. Not to mention it was hard to swallow.

Omg I'm in the same situation, 39 wks will be 40 on Wednesday the 18th and NOTHING!! I've done the walking when it's warm enough outside, cleaning, dancing & sex. I'm so over this pregnancy.

My due date is January 18th which is Wednesday.. and I still haven't gotten any contractions it ***** I'm so sick of being pregnant!!?! Ughh

I took primrose oil, after a fell in the tub the hospital checked to see if i was dilated at all.. I wasnt. The next day i lost my plug,  and the day after that i had my daughter. I was 39w 5d

Cvs,  or any drug store. Ya i slipped baby was fine tho no problems. I think it was the combo of the peimrose and being checked that pushed me into labor.. U take 3 by mouth a day and then insert one into ur vagina and its supposw to thin ur cervix

Walking being more active rather than relaxed ....depends on the person even hot food can work
