Are u saying u have hsv but haven't had an outbreak yet? If so u still need to start taking your meds by week 32, because your hormones can cause it to happen at any time!
No the baby's daddy slept with someone who told him she had it she wasn't having an outbreak. But he refused to wrap it. Two weeks after he slept with her he slept with me
If you're worried, you can ask for a blood test.
Herpes is actually contagious just before sores appear, so it's possible. However, if you contract it, you usually have an initial outbreak within a couple of weeks of contact.

Actually, roughly 80% of people with HSV are non symptomatic ( meaning they dont ever have an outbreak). There is about a 10% chance of speadung the cells with no sores. If ypu are worried, just get that blood test.
^mama, I dont think she was looking to get judgment on anything. Its none of your business if they are together or not.
A lot of people have it for years and never know until some random time they have an outbreak. If u had it before getting pregnant, your baby is fine. However, if u contract it after you are pregnant, your baby has a much larger risk. Mention the situation to your doctor and get tested. Usually at your first appointment, you are tested for STIs. Your boyfriend needs to be tested as well. If he refuses to get tested you need to refuse sex, bottom line.
I'm not with him anymore obviously. It pisses me off that I have to go thru it
