I had it during my first trimester and now this passed week I'm almost 21 weeks. It honestly is the worst symptom for me :(
I make sure I have a bm every one to two days to avoid this. I use a glycerin suppository on the second day to help the bm along. I found that no matter how much fiber I ingested, if I ate a lot of protein for a few days I would need the suppository. It was cleared by my doctor, but of course talk to yours first before using a suppository.
Natural and effective ways to loosen your stool are papaya, Dried plums, a lot of water, spirulina, dates help but may cause contractions and curcumin too so if your not ready to deliver do not consume this last two. Papaya is the best.
I had some trouble as well. I take flax seeds and sprinkle them on everything I eat.
Yes it was huge! This was the first time I've ever experienced anything like this! It felt like i was having the baby!!
Thay happen to me about a week ago i was literally in the restroom for an hour until it all came out i had never seen such a huge poop in my life sorry tmi
Yes I am definitely going to ask for a stool softener and maybe even a laxative as well because I'm due in 13 days and after I had my first baby I didn't make a bowel movement for almost a whole month even though I was taking stool softeners
My dr told me I could take a stool softner. It helps alot wen I get bad. Ask ur dr he will recommend something.
I tried that. It was literally lodged and would not budge. It had like the circumference of a baseball and I had no choice but to dislodge it by hand. Luckily I had my phone and called my ob nurse when I started to panic and she told me what to do. She called it bowel impaction or fecal impaction.
I have had trouble going but never to that extent. I just sat there and tried to relax and push when I could. Sometimes I might be there for about 30 minutes but it would eventually all come out. Try sitting up very straight and bring a bottle of water with you when you try to go next time. This seamed to help me a lot.
