I smoke yes try not to but sometimes it hurt ur sanity
I smoke and i'm pregnant. I used to smoke two packs a day so its really hard for me to stop. But i'm down to about 5 a day. My doctor said its worse to stop so suddenly and stress your body than to gradually stop or at least cut down if you cant stop.
I'm almost thirteen weeks pregnant and its my first time throwing up like ever is this the pregnancy or something else?

@kaitcarvampire yes its normal to throw up in pregnancy, especially in the beginning.
It does get tough but what helped me quit and stay quit was realizing that stress is there either way. It's not going to change because I smoke. Also I stated picturing it like I wad blowing cigarette smoke in my son's face. That is pretty good motivation! With my first I had the hardest time quitting, I was about 4 and a half months before I was finally able to kick it all together. But I just found other ways to help- deep breathing, lavender oil, going for a walk, taking a bath, listening to music . All were helpful. We all know it is bad for us and baby but unless you're ready than nothing will work. Just cut down as much as you can and try to explore other positive coping techniques. Good luck mama:)
I know how you feel. I smoke too and 18 weeks. It ***** but I've also went from 2 packs a day down to less than 5. I get so look stressed sometimes. What I REALLY want is a glass of wine but I figured that can wait....you'll be ok dear. I Know how stressful it can be.
My first 2 pregnancies I just COULD NOT stop I cut down to about 5 a day. This time I was so lucky I stopped instantly but I knew not to give myself a hard time if ii couldnt. Just tell yourself you can only have one when u really need 1. This should make u smoke less becayse u know u can have one. Good luck.
