How long after they give you the pitocin can you get the epidural?
I just got induced and pitocin is extremely strong and contractions are painful my doctor asked me if I wanted the epidural before getting pitocin ...hope you have a safe and healthy delivery
Because you are getting induced you can get it whenever you want
You can ask for it whenever you're ready
You have to be 4 cm dilated. With my 3rd induction i was able to get the epidural before labor started because i was at 4cm.
Well, you have to be in labor, obviously, but otherwise I don't know.
