I really is just a choice that you will have to make.  We had my son's done. My husband didn't have his done until he was 8 years old and it was much more painful. The baby doesn't remember and is numb.

I was wrong. Says no need to pull the foreskin back when they are babies. I'm a nurse who cares for the elderly and we have to in the older men because it gets very nasty underneath the foreskin. Never force it back though. Always pull back gently.

I had my son's done and it doesn't hurt them and it's better for them in the long run.  But that's up to you everyone has their own beliefs.

It has nothing to do w looks....lol
It stores bacteria and infections so when your circumcisesd it helps not get infection and what not as easy lol......

Never ever pull the foreskin back and clean it just leave it if you aren't going to get him done, if you forcefully pull it back and clean it will cause a great deal of problems just let it be the foreskin in babies is incompletely detached from the head of the penis and you could tear the fusion which is the inner foreskin and the glans and if you do tear it, it is very painful for baby. So do not ever retract the foreskin to clean it..

I had my boys done. If you don't just make sure you keep the foreskin pulled back and clean it very often. Teach him how to as well when he's bigger. My cousin ended up having to have it done when he was seven because of infections.

This is my first pregnancy and if I have a boy, my husband and I decided not to do a circumsion. My husband isn't and it's just not necessary.

I had my son's circumcised.  They honestly acted like it never happened.  It wasn't a dramatic surgical procedure or anything.  For our family, it was the right decision and we are pleased we made it but every family has to do what is best for them.  good luck

Although I will add it's really up to you, no one can make your mind up for you so do whatever you feel is the right choice :)

If I have a boy I will have it done. Not for looks but just because it's cleaner.

If I were having a boy I'd have him circumcised, but that is my choice. My husband is and agrees that he would want it done as well. I've seen many little boys who have problems with not being circumcised (and sometimes even the best hygiene can't prevent them). I have taken part in the procedure before and baby is numbed up and given sucrose to decrease any discomfort. I would never want my son to have to go through such a procedure as an older child or adult when it is drastically more traumatic so I believe it's best to do it as an infant.

You shouldn't there is absolutely no need to he was a born that way so why change it, I mean it's not hard to teach them hygiene that's all it comes down to and people who do it because "it looks better" make me sick, I just think it's a cruel procedure and totally unecessary. The human body is made a certain way for a reason and it's perfect that way. That's my opinion on the subject I have all boys and I would never put them through that even though they are babies and won't remember it's just not worth it to me to see them in so much pain.

I'm having my first baby he's a boy. I refuse to put him through that. I will just teach him how to clean his penis.
