Even buying the best diapers im only spending about $620, $400 if i didnt get the extras that arnt needed (just so cute i gotta have them), vs. Over $2000 on disposables!!!! Thats saving almost $1500 dollars on diapers!!!! And most of the diapers i picked out are gender neutral so if i have another baby and its a boy i can use most of them on him and if its a girl i can use all of them and save over $3000 dollars total on both babies!!! The kind im getting are even the all-in-ones that are almost $20 a diaper... yet i can still save all that money!!!! Why dont more moms do this o.o

I've clothed two kids from birth...my husband won't touch a disposable at all he finds them gross lol!  And FYI if you are exclusively breastfeeding you don't even have to rinse until you start solids :)

Ill be home also <3 my bf n me dnt live together but i told him he either has to deal with my cloth diapers or buy his own disposable ones :D hahaha

I am a ftm too and will be cloth diapering :) you can get a set of 6 for 90-120 dollars depending on what brand. I will be home full time except weekends so I will be able to do laundry frequently :)

Im a ftm <3 i figured they wouldnt fit right away and i had already bought some nb diapers and some size 1 diapers... i think i have tomany newborn diapers now but oh well <3 better to many than not enough plus theres other mommies that r pregers that i know <3

I'm with you!! I'm just barely pregnant with number 4, and last year when I had number 3 I had THREE CHILDREN IN DIAPERS AT ONCE! Could you even IMAGINE the cost of they had been in disposables?! And I'm not That crunchy, but also, could you imagine the mountain of dirty diapers they would have created?? Cloth is definitely the way to go!
And in my limited experience, it's because most mums just don't want one more thing they have to do. Cloth takes more work. Too much, for most:/

I've used cloth for 16+ months and will use it on the new baby too! I love it!!

I did cloth with my first. My mistake was trying to do it from birth. But babies at first go #2, if they sneeze, caugh, cry,...everything and anything. i was washing washing, spending lots on water and soap! My advice is to wait til their #2 slows down!

I might wanna look into that councle thing.. whats that. My grandpa looked at me like i was crazy but i showed him a picture of modern aio diapers... he still thinks ill hate it but honestly i mean we gotta handle diapers anyway, why not use cheeper, enviromental friendly, reuseable diapers!! I mean it is our babys and its just poo n pee lol just dump it out in the toilet :) ur suposta do that with disposables to anyway. Plus id rather be excited about the adorible designs lol

Im with you! I love them, and while people think I'm crazy but I am going to be at home full time, it's not really a hassle to do an extra load of washing and they are so much better for the environment. Where I am, our council supports cloth by giving you $100 worth of them for $10 if you choose to use them. My mum did it with 4 so I figure I can handle one especially when they're so much easier these days with no folding/soaking/sluicing required.
