Increase success of VBAC

I'm due in 3 days but my baby still looks too comfy, a week ago when they checked he hadn't even engaged. I'm hoping to successfully have a VBAC. Any advice on how to make him less comfy and increase the chance of a VBAC, not a repeat c-section? I have till Oct. 1st to have him or else.

Oh wait I just read you've got til 42 weeks already! I take it back,I wouldn't push the csec date back a week, lol. But I might take the csec over induction, but again, depends which induction drug they're using too.

Hmm, evening primrose oil, pineapple and semen (vaginally or orally) are supposed to ripen cervix... But an induction VBAC has higher risks than a spontaneous labour or even a repeat csec (even with a softened cervix), so make sure that's what you really want. If it were me I'd push the csec date back a week rather than get an induction, but I understand that different people want different biths!

If the cervix is ripe, they will try induction first on the 1st.

I have been up and walking the whole pregnancy as well as wrangling a toddler that doesn't understand how difficult it is to carry him at 9 months pregnant. Tried spicy food, "preggo pizza", sex (but thats gotten very uncomfortable due to indigestion). Maybe the acupressure will help. What about ripening the cervix?

I think Jasmine is supposed to help as well.

Walking, sex, pineapple, acupuncture, acupressure, nipple stimulation (google how to do it safely), burn frankincense and clarysage essential oils round the hour (known to bring on early labour in susceptible women), bounce on gym ball, rock on all fours... I'm sure there's more! None of them work for everyone, but some of them work for some people, so if you're desperate, you could give them all a try. Problem is, if you're naturally  late term delivered, then probably nothing will budge him before your due date. But no harm trying!
