Call OB again.  Ask what normal turn around time is at your OB office for a callback.  I would think they'd call within an hour

When i ever had questions regarding medication i called my local hospital's ob unit to talk to the doctor on call. I dont know if you can even do that, but if you cant get ahold of your doctor maybe try that. Sorry its not a very helpful answer.

Come to think of it my PCP said any Tylenol product like Tylenol cold & flu, should be fine.

Starbucks passion tea helps sore throat.  Add honey/lemon. If you think you need meds call your OB to ask what's safe.  I probably wouldn't go in for special appt unless you have fever or severe symptoms.

Yes doctor highly recomended im 7 weeks on my third pregnancy every single one i had a cold in the beggining and there are very few things u can take while pregnant...try the tea and cough drops until u get to the doctors...most say u can take tylenol but its best to make sure with ur doctor first
