Induction stories?

If I don't go into labor by the 25th, I will be induced at 7pm that night. I would like to here some induction stories. How did it go? & how long did it take you to have your beautiful baby in your arms? (:

I was induced with my first Baby due to high blood pressure at 38 weeks. I went in a 7am and he was born at 9:48pm. I am a nurse and heard that Pitocin makes the contractions 10 times worse. I did get an epidural but I didn't think it was all that bad. Seemed like forever but then working as a Nurse I have seen Girls that labor for 2 or 3 days so I was quite happy.

I went in around 6pm with my last baby, a fingertip dilated, dr inserted cervidil which stays in for 12 hrs and is supposed to soften your cervix and help you dilate. It didn't work!! They tried to break my water and they couldn't even get the stick in there!! I went in for a csection around 9am and finally held my little boy around 10am!
