Is this normal for anyone else?

This is my second pregnancy and I am experiencing pretty severe and very constant cramps (with no bleeding or spotting). I am supposed to be about 6 weeks. I was not able to get an appt. with OBGYN so I went to the ER for my cramps but they just gave me ibuprofen. They also could not see anything in ultrasound so we assumed it was too early. I did misstated with the first pregnancy and I'm worried about the awful cramps which I am taking acetaminophen every 4-6 hours for ... Has anyone else dealt with this before?

Ibuprofen is an absolute no no in pregnancy.

Don't take ibuprofen. It's normal to cramp. Wait another week or two and try an ultrasound again and have your hcg levels checked. My cramps were worse this time then with my first. Drink more water and see if that helps. Cramps tend to be worse if you are dehydrated.
