should i go

Im 38 weeks Monday Friday  my cervix was dialated 5cms and i have been loosing  my mucus plug i believe for two days now after checking my cervix i had aome spotting  i know that is normal  but then i had a large clump of mucus discharge that was bloody since then i have had about 3-4 times of wiping and getting  large clumps of mucus only the first  clump was bloody ive had some tighting in my stomach  some painful mostly not should i go to the drs

There's no need to go in unless you're having contractions 3-5 min apart or your water breaks. I'm sure you'll have a quick delivery since you are already at a 5 so as soon as the pains start coming or your water breaks head over. But I agree that the less time you spend at the hospital the less chance of them interfering with your birth plan or labor.

I'm not sure why everyone says to rush to the hospital at the first tiny signs of labor. You shouldn't go to the hospital till your in active labor having contractions 5 minutes apart or closer. Or if there are complications. You should spend most of your labor at home where you are comfortable and less likely to have interventions. Have a bath, try and get some rest, labor sounds very close for you, you may even be in early labor. Best of luck

They didn't admit me because it wasn't  active labor

Yes, go now!! I'm surprised they didn't admit you once they knew you were 3 cm dilated. Congrats, it sounds like baby is on the way!
