I found out today I have gestational diabetes :/ my doctor appointment is tomorrow morning so I'll find out more about it. Anyone else have it? I don't want to have a big baby :/

I love water so that doesn't really bother me. Im more nervous about how this is affecting my baby. I've had the lemonade packets before.. they are really good!! I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow anf start planning a healthy diet

Kroger has sugar free lemonade packets and it's really good ,if you like lemonade. Of course yeah drink water, but sometimes I have to have something with flavor.

Yeah I had to fast as well for the three hour test... thanks ladies. I know I'll have to change my diet. Im also letting go of juice and sticking to just water

I was told about 2 weeks ago. Today I went to a high risk doctor it wasn't my day to hear the risk carrying a baby and having gestational diabetes.

I have it , and as long as you keep your blood sugar under control, the baby will be normal size. I had to put myself on a diet, and it's been helpful with keeping my blood sugar where it needs to be.

I almost had that during my first pregnancy. Try eating 6 small serving meals instead of 3 and of course lots of veggies!

My doctor told me for my next appointment to come without eating anything for another test

Im sorry :( I honestly didn't think I had it... I failed my one hour test by only three points but I also ate before that one.
