I had it freaked me out with my first child...anyways they usually place u on an drip with antibiotics a couple of hours or so before you give birth is all...my little one was fine heathly no problems from having me having group b strep hope this helps :) on to my second child hopefully no group b strep this time around:)
I had it with my 3rd pregnancy and they acted like it was no big deal and to just come as soon as I knew I was in labor so they could give me antibiotics on time before I had to deliver him to be safe
