Joy & disappointment

Okay so I had picked out the most amazing name for our baby, Ryder (boy). I am absolutely in LOVE with it. My sister and closest friend love it too. My boyfriend had agreed to it and really liked it, until now. Today we found out that our baby is in fact a boy. I asked if he was still okay with naming him Ryder, and suddenly he really doesn't like it. I am so sad! I can't imagine naming him anything else. Ugggh, men!

Thanks Ashley! Me too. He said it doesn't sound practical, which I totally don't understand. I was hoping he would change his mind, but it's not looking like it :(

When I started reading the post I presumed ryder was a boys name

What's his issue if he liked it for a girl has he given a reason

Same thing happened to me. There is a name I absolutely LOVE and before we got pregnant my boyfriend said he really liked it too. But now that we are he doesn't like it anymore. Of course he has no suggestions. But then again we still dont know what we are having. Hope you and him find a name you both love.
