Junk food addiction

I am having a hard time not eating junk food. Before being pregnant, I ate really healthily. Now, I seem to want fast food at least once a week. Ice cream and peanut butter cups have become an almost daily thing. I still try to eat as healthy as possible, but I seem to give in to the junk much more easily now... Does anyone know what kind of an effect this is having on the baby? Anyone sympathize?

It gets hard when ur preg I have been on a brownie and peanut butter kick too for like four months now. So I've just started to bake my own I have even made my own peanut butter cups and there even better than the ones you can buy and twice as healthy and no where near as bad for u!! And as for eating out again just try and find healthier alternatives like avacado instead of mayo and so on

I went to pei wei and they have an awesome soda machine. I got a vanilla coke and it was like liquid crack. Lol. I wanted a second glass sooooo bad but I refrained myself.

I'm so paranoid about this because I know I gain weight easily but it's all I crave as well. I think of it this way, if I can stomach it, then I'll eat it. But if I'm feeling good that day and can pass up a craving, I'll pass it up for something healthier. I try to be mindful but don't kill myself everyday with worrying about weight and such.

Soda from the fountain is what I crave, and I don't drink soda when I'm not pregnant. I think it's weird that our bodies crave things that are considered not good for us.

I'm the same, I used to eat very healthy but now healthy food is boring and unappetizing to me.

I definitely understand this. I literally just got done eating a meat n cheese sandwich and A1 sauce to dip it in lol. I have been eating and craving candy lately which is odd since I stopped eating candy for the most part while I was pregnant with my daughter. Now, 5 years later its like "bring on the junk!!"

I want fast food all the time. I cried the other night because I wanted in and put but I couldn't get it. I'll have Carl's jr once in a while and chips and soda. It's hard I know lol

I stopped drinking Soda about two yeas ago and have craved it with pregancy.  I cave maybe 2 times a week. And I seem to crave a bunch of salty things

Ever since my 20th week I've been eating, Burger King, McDonalds, Dennys, Steak and Shake and any kind of junk food NON STOP. It's horrible but I can't seem to stop. I try eating healthy while at home also but so far I haven't gone a day without outside food. I'm currently 36 week's and my baby is healthy so I don't think is anything to worry about. Just don't let it be all junk food.

I eat what I want but I don't always crave junk food. Some days milk and cheese, salads, shrimp recently. Depends on what catches my eye. A few days ago I ate 2 chunky bars and a twix. Try not to do it too much is all. Everything (just about) is fine, within reason.

I'm always wanting chic fila or arbys or ice cream and cake. I do limit myself but I do treat myself.
