There's a number of home remedies, spicy foods, castor oil, acupuncture, intercourse, walking, also if you are producing milk you can try to pump and store the milk, a lot of times pumping will bring on labor quickly
They don't recommend you trying to start labor with pumping/nipple stimulation or castor oil because it can cause problems in labor. Walking, sex, asking your dr to strip your membranes, and waiting are what is recommended only.
Agree with Danielleberger1! :)
How far along do you have to be to ask for a membrane sweep??
I used castor oil with my first and had no issues. I now have a healthy 5 yr old girl and a boy on the way. When I get closer to due date I plan on castor oil again.
Sex and alot of walking. Before I went into labour I went shopping, so alot of walking was done. I also (don't know if this could have caused labour) had a mega cappuccino and piece of cheese cake. @Castromomma I don't recommend pumping milk to store as your baby will need the colostrum and pumping will take that away from your baby.
