Discomfort

My mother always complains or gives me funny looks because I eat a lot. What do I do! I'm 5.5 months and feel uncomfortable eating. I had oat meal and a nectarine at 7 am now is 10:32 and I'm having a burrito. Am I eating top much?

Its normal to eat alot more frequently u have a growing baby inside you. U need more for energy and nutrients for bub. Eat when your hungry very important otherwise all sorts of things could go wrong like fainting etc. Tell her to buzz off nicely. What ur eating is completely normal you think she would understand after having children herself.

Even if you're eating too much, you can't help it, so don't pay attention to anybody, my sister is the same way with me, but I reminded her when she was pregnant and her mother in law used to say that to her and she felt bad every time she did, so I told her to stop doin the same thing to me, and I don't care anyway, food taste so much better when we're pregnant, and I'm not going to deprive myself for nobody, so enjoy it, enjoy eating what u can

You should eat when you're hungry but make good choices.  Healthy eating is good for you and your baby, funny looks are not!  I've heard that smaller meals more often are actually better than the typical 3 meals/day.

I agree with the poster above.  Eat when you're hungry, check with your health care provider about your weight gain, and ignore your mother.

OR say something to her about how she's making you feel.

No you need it to keep energy up as long as your doctors don't have a problem with your weight and it isnt increasing rapidly i wouldnt worry, just eat when you hungry and ignore your mother
