2:47A.M.

I'm exhausted, I want to go to sleep so badly but I can't cause my boyfriend is STILL playing video games with his friend in our bedroom. (Its the only place in the apartment that has a TV.) They've been playing halo since midnight, I'm ready for bed, been ready. But he doesn't get to hang out and play video games very often, but dear lord I just wish he'd do it at a descent time of not play till 4AM. My back hurts, my eyes burn, my baby is pushing down on my cervixs on top of that. I'm curled up in a ball and I have to climb over two men and an a Xbox just to pee. I don't want to be mean and say get out when he only gets to do this once every month but damn I have 8 days till my munchkin will be here (or any day now) and I just want to sleep.

I agree with alot of these comments, like the tv should be moved somewhere else and at 4am thats kinda much but i dont think our bf shoukd loose his friend time just because your ptegnant. We put our men through alot during pregnancy but always forget that they are having a baby too and everyone needs some stressfree time(at a decent hour lol).

I would ask them to go to the next room. Im 10 days away and am getting moody if i dont get a full 8 hours sleep or more. He should understand, you're having his child in a week or so. Hugs to you sweetie, but kick him out next time lol

I think that's very selfish of your boyfriend. You need all of the rest you can get, you are taking care of two human beings right now!!. Move the TV out of the bedroom permanently. There's no reason for it to be there, bedrooms are for sleeping and soon the baby will be next to you in a bassinet at night probably. There's no place for television or video games in a room for sleeping. even having the television on an hour or two before bedtime inhibits your ability to fall asleep and will also be very harmful for your child. Doctors recommend no electronic exposure until after 2 years of age. I hate song outside user tv as a babysitter. It's selling to your kids. If you use it, play videos (20 min or less) on dvd or Netflix out you tube stone baby puppets. Otherwise commercials will warp them early. Your boyfriend is very selfish. That's beyond unacceptable and you need to step up Momma and do what's best for you and your child ALWAYS. can't worry about hurting his feelings come on sounding me, or not being the type to say something. You are a mother, you are the type to say something because you are doing what is best for your child. And that is getting as much rest as humanly possible throughout the day and especially at night! that really really angers me that he is so unbelievably selfish. Who cares about video games? You're about to give birth in 8 days!! He'd be sleeping on the couch with his halo video game! So wrong! sounds like he doesn't even have respect for you or your child. I hope he's a better father than boyfriend.
