Long distance baby shower?
I was wondering if anyone else has had a long distance baby shower or went home for one? My boyfriend and I are currently over 900 miles away from our families and we're flying home for the baby shower our families are having for us. What did you guys do with the big items you may have gotten at your shower? Like a crib, travel system, or anything else big?
You should have your families order through a website and have the larger items sent to your house. That will save on shipping for you. Some stores offer instore delivery that is free of charge. I would talk with your families and try to plan it that way.
I'll be having one next month. My mom will be visiting for the birth so she'll drive & bring me the items.
