Maternity clothes

Anyone have any suggestions on maternity clothes, like which store has the best deals and how soon to start buying them? Any other feedback would be great, too. Thanks! :)

I shopped at motherhood maternity and old navy. I shopped clearance at both. My one piece of advice is this: if you are planning to breastfeed buy tops that are easily accessible for breastfeeding. Otherwise you have to go back to the store, after baby, and buy all new tops to make your new pass time easier. Sales people will tell you they dont work well with your bump during pregnancy,  just buy a size larger then! Seriously, it will save you loads of cash. And stock up on those nursing bras as your boobs grow during pregnancy. No use in buying two different kids. Plus you'll love how comfy those sports nursing bras feel on your gigantic breasts. Lol

If you work and need work clothes, try:

Nordstrom.com
Loft.com
Asos.com

I get my casual maternity clothes from the three websites above but also from the following:

Old Navy.com
Gap.com
HM.com

FTMs can get away with wearing their normal clothes for a long time. I did with my first pregnancy until 20+ weeks. Some of my friends kept wearing their normal clothes even longer with use of bellybands, extra long shirts to cover unbottoned pants, etc. I started wearing maternity clothes around 12 weeks with my second pregnancy. Most people show a lot earlier after they already had a baby. I had to buy new clothes because I was carrying differently and not all my old clothes from the first pregnancy fit or was flattering.

Find a store with good return policy. And slowly figure out what works for you.

I think the cutest and cheapest maternity clothes is from H&M. You can find some things at Ross. Gap is a little more.pricey sometimes they have great sales though.

I don't like to go all out on clothes that you won't be wearing for a long time. I'm a stay at home mom. I guess it would be different if you had to go to a job everyday though.  I just shopped kohls clearance, ross, target....
