Migraines

I'm 13 weeks and 6 days. I have history of serve migraines. I haven't got them as much over the last yr just here and there BUT since I've become pregnant I've experiencing them a lot. Sometimes I'm able to control them and other days the pain in unbearable. I started to feel one coming on last night so I took Tylenol, a hot shower, a warm cloth to back of my neck, and laid on heating pad. I woke up at 5 am crying my eyes out, throwing up, dizzy, and in so much pain. I went to Dr and he gave me Tylenol with codeine #4. Has anyone ever taken this while pregnant? What other remedies or options do you ladies recommend to help prevent them or even get rid of them?

Thanks ladies I'm going to have to try the warm water and cold compress right now. I'm in so much pain.

I've been on Tylenol 4 for migraines while pregnant. Now on Percocet for them but I try not to take them. Best thing I have found is put your feet in warm to hot water and a cold compress on your neck. It redirects blood flow from your head and relieves pressure. You never want to put heat on or around your head when feeling a headache coming on. Heat increases blood flow to the area which increases pressure thus increasing pain

Make sure you drink a lot of water
force yourself into drinking a lot of water
I had the same problem
Now i get the bad headaches maybe once in two weeks
