Mild Anemia

I'm 29 weeks and just found out yesterday that I have mild anemia. I was prescribed iron supplements,  but was wondering what anyone else did to help it. Any tips or advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.!

Carnation breakfast start. I do the chocolate one with a banana ice and milk. It actually makes me feel better

Mine a little low too. Eat leafy greens and foods fortified with iron.  My doc said its common & said the supplements would probably be constipating so instead gave me a list of iron rich foods with amounts of iron per serving. Cream of wheat was on the list. I'm sure you could google foods if they didn't give you any suggestions at your office.
