Mom's who have had labor.

Okay so I feel like I'm contraction, light, but still. My aunt said that when you have real contractions your stomach will suck in and you can see the outline of your baby. Mom's who have gone through labor did this happen to you?

Everyone says "oh you'll know when you're in labor" but I will get low to mid back pain that spreads out through my hips and then I will get a feeling like cramps or gas pains. Some that I've had in the past were extremely painful. Like I cried they hurt so bad.  TIA!

Its kind of scary when ur a first time mommy so i understand. When ur in real labor you will have bad period cramps off an on you might have lost ur mucus plug or ur water might brake. Your real contractions will be constant in time so mabe evry 3-5min appart. I wish u the best

Thank you so much ladies! It's so hard when you think you're having contractions. When it feels like real labor and you're trusting your body and then someone tells you that you're not.

I just felt like they were strong argues to poop until they were about 6 minutes apart then the real pain set in and I knew. If you can get them to stop it's just BH. Keep your bladder empty drink lots of water and lay on left side. If it keeps coming it's really labor ;)

Try this if there Braxton pains they will go away if u drink lots of water (sometime fake contractions are because ur dehydrated ) hop in the shawer they will go away with this too. If not more likely they are the real thing. They feel more of a bad period cramp. And no you can not see the outline of the baby

Thank you so much ladies!!! What's been happening is like what you're saying only mild at this time. I thought they were contractions but everyone is telling me no! It's so frustrating! They're really far apart right now (like 15 min or more haven't been keeping track yet). Hoping I see her soon!

Sounds like labor to me!!

And no. When I went into labor I didn't see the out line of my baby, but my belly did get really hard with each contraction.

I went with back labor. At first the pain was like I was on my period but quickly after an hour passed it felt like I was hit by a truck!
My labor lasted 82 hours because they wouldn't let me go in until they were regulated. Which never happened. I just went in when it felt like I was sitting on my son's head!!

Good luck and remember to breathe. I know it seems silly but when I went in a stoppedd breathing through my contractions and almosted passed out!! Haha.
Remember also to eat before you go into the hospital. They won't feed you until that baby is out!

Girl I do NOT remember my stomach doing that to where I could see baby . But my water broke so I knew I was in labor but the pains felt like a really bad period cramp at first they were 5 min apart . But later in labor they got way more intense.  But if they are close together Then it might be time keep track of them write them down . Everyone's contractions are different . But mine just felt like if I had a heavy period and I had really bad cramps .
