Mucous Plug?
38, almost 39, weeks and I had a Dr appt today. She did the normal vaginal exam. I've never had any spotting, cramping or bleeding afterwards. Well, tonight I noticed a white-ish clear discharge tinged with brown and it kinda kept coming out. Since this is my first pregnancy, could this be my mucous plug? Thanks!
Could have been ur mucous plug yes. Though mine was more like a big booger.
The only reason I thought it would be my mucous plus is because it looked kinda like phlegm with brown in it and it kept coming out, kinda stringy like. I know, gross, but I honestly don't know what it's supposed to look like.
Not mucus plug most times after a cervix check ull bleed redish pink for a tiny bit then it will turn brown it should only last 24 hours after a check and its because sometimes u pop blood vessels in the cervix during the check just from being a little to rough. Never happened to me intell my 5th check it doesnt always happen but definitely can and is perfectly normal
