The longer the baby stays in tge better. He/she will come when ready.
I am sad bc I am having a c section.  They are pulling my lil boy out a week early.  He's missing out on a week of extra development, weight gain and inner nurturing from his mommy.

I'm over due! I'm 40 weeks and 4 days. Mine was just like a clear thick mucus. Not sure if my doctor cause it to happen because yesterday I had my doctors appointment and I haven't been dilating at all for the past 2 weeks. He was checking to see if I was and like I could feel him trying to open my cervix,  it hurt a lot. And then every since this morning at 3 am i kept having really bad cramps and that's when I went to the restroom and it came out l, out of nowhere so yeah that's how it happened to me?

Just so you know, your mucous plug can regenerate.  You may continue to lose it over the next couple of weeks.
