Can your mucus plug present itself the same as fertile discharge? Clear, stringy egg white consistency?
No it cant its just discharge

I honestly have no idea, with my first born I never had any out of the ordinary discharge and I never seen when I lost my plug. My waters broke on their own and had meconium so maybe it was disguised in my waters lol I wasn't aware of it but this time is totally different I have si many more things happening first time was a breeze this time has been abit crazy for me.
It can range from clear to snot like green to clear with pink in it or brown. Just depends on how yours looks. It also can come in small pieces to all at once.

I haven't had it my whole pregnancy I'm 40 weeks tomorrow so I wasn't sure if it it could be my plug or if it is just another amazing pregnancy 'side affect' haha.
My mucus plug with my 1st baby was like an egg white and was very clear that it wasn't normal discharge. It can be clear and not always have any colour to it
From wat I know its green like a snot .. Can come out together or bits at a time .. That's normal discharge ur having
