Labor/birth stories

Does anyone care to share their experience? I'm 30 weeks with my second child and am so ready to have him it's insane! Hoping hearing some stories will calm me down a little. :)

My first I was induced at 38 weeks do to complications. I was in back labor for 36 hours. The meds didn't work because of the back labor. They were about to do a c-section when my son graced us with his presence. He will be 16 in December.  My second, I was going into heart failure because I was having a bad thyroid storm and they had to give me an emergency c-section at 27 weeks. I woke up in the middle of my c-section screaming in pain. Baby died 3 days later. My third, I had to have a planned c-section at 36 weeks because my last child they did a T incision which weakened my uterus.  I was allowed to be awake for this one. The delivered him and he had to go to NICU. He is now 2 and very smart. I am now 31 weeks pregnant and have to have another c-section at 36 weeks. I convinced them to let me go 36 weeks and 4 days. I am hoping the extra 4 days and the steroid shot will keep this baby out of the NICU. This is our last. This pregnancy almost killed me several times. However,  we are excited to have this little one in 5 more weeks and see if it is a boy or girl.

With my first, the day before my due date, I was cleaning cooking,  feeling the best as I felt like crap my whole pregnancy,  took a hot bath at 3 pm, about 4:30 pm, I started getting pains, they just hit me out of now where!  Called my mother, of course once she answered the phone the pains went way, talked to her ft or a few minutes,  she told me to keep her updated, then right before I hung up, boom the pains came back,  at this point I was in tears!  Lol. She said well it's time!  Was in labor for 19 hours, gave birth on my due date. Pushing was to easy as I had meds.  With my second,  I was induced at 39 weeks by my choosing.  Was in labor for 6 hours, by the time it was time to push told the Dr's the meds wore off and that I could feel my legs, he said it was to late & to push! Ohhh geese! pain...pain..pain.. felt like I was a whale being ripped apart!  My first is now 6yo and my second is now 2 yo. And we have our 3rd but last due in November!!!

40+2. 2am wasnt sleeping so i thought i would do some nipple stimuktation. 30mins later i was properly in labour. Tens and water at home until about 11am when i felt pressure in my bottom so decided it was time to start getting ready to go in. Contractions were about 1 min in and 1 min off so everything took a long time. About 12 we arrived at the hospital and i started really mooing a few contractions after i got there. Hopped in the birthing pool for a bit. Waters broke with poo in them so had to hop out. Birthed a few mins later kneeling on the floor. 10 pounder. Now 15 months and low him to bits with his litte brother 19w from due

I labored for 10 hours, and had back labor as well but that didn't get bad for me until I was 6" dilated. I chose not to have medication, but my dilation jumped from 6 to 8 and then to a full 10 within 2 hours. And only 10 minutes of pushing and my baby boy was born at 2:14 am. :)
