Natural Labour Techniques

Was wondering what different natural labour techniques everyone is trying .. im looking into water births... relaxation music. .. can anyone give me other suggestions?

I'm 38 weeks today! I'm planning to do a water birth heard it relax u and can be easier so gonna try it.

Thanks girls .... i will def look into this. Im very scared about labour side of my pregnancy experience ... but your right one step closer to bring our little buddel of joy into the world! Need all the advise i can get!

I totally agree with flopsy.  Your mind can be a powerful tool to get you through labor.  I did a lot of walking down the hospital halls and did the medicine ball.  When my contractions got real strong I used the tub in the tub room I had requested checking in.  The tub had jets which you could angle.  I progressed fast in the tub. Moving is a alot more progressive than being confined to the bed, which usually happens when you receive an epidural. Also a strong supportive person helps, my husband was wonderful.

Hypno birthing. It's basically just positivity talking yourself through labor and blocking everything else out... You learn to focus your mind and keep telling yourself you were made to do this and the pain is good because you are getting closer every second to bringing a child into the world.  I'm going to try doing yoga positions through contractions, use my yoga ball and the shower.  I also want to use a squat bar.  This is my first labor and I want to do it all natural. Our bodies were made for this.
