No Insurance

I'm a first time mom. And by doing a due date calculator I'm 6 weeks today. Now I want to go to the doctor ASAP cause I worry. But I have no proof of insurance. I'm covered under my parents && they wont provide it. Where can I go or what can I do.

The other option is to call your parents' company,  confirm you are covered,  and ask for the policy number.  They may also send you a spare card in the mail if you ask.

The government provides free coverage.  Go to your states medicaid website and enroll - they will ask re income.  Once enrolled, you will get an id number.  They will send confirmation of it in the mail.  Take this plus your state id to hospital walk-in clinic or planned parenthood,  or another facility that accepts medicaid(call before if not sure) .  All services should be covered, either  free or minimal co-pay($3 per visit at our hospital)

Go to planned parenthood or something like that for proof of pregnancy. Then take that to go get state insurance.

Try getting a group/policy/ID number and see if that will work.
