Is effaced mean labor sooner than dilated? Meaning the higher the effaced the sooner i can go verse a higher dilation
Effacing means how LONG your cervix is. Your cervix is roughly 3-4 centimeters long. And as you get closer to labor your cervix will shorten. Centimeters of cervical length is not the same as cervical dilation.
I was 100% effaced & 1cm dialated for a week or more last time, then finally went into labor

No. You can be 100% effaced and only be dilated 2cm. Has nothing to do with when labour will happen.
