No flowers for me.......
My husband didnt buy me flowers. But he gave me the most precious gifts i could ever ask for. I have one beautiful daughter & another on the way. I remember his excitement when we found out I was pregnant the first time. I appreciate the great dad he has become. He's been with me with the 4 years of disappointment month after month when i got my period. I remember his reaction when I got pregnant the second time. I remember the tears he tried to hide when he saw our daughters' ultrasound scans. He's given me 20 years of memories.I appreciate him putting down his guard for me & being vulnerable with me. My husband didn't buy me flowers or candy or anything. But he helps me with the bills, chores, child care & gives me everything i could ever need. He said happy mothers day late, but thats ok cause he tells but most importantly SHOWS me his appreciation throughout the year. I didnt get any "gifts" but he gave me his heart.
Awwe :) my fiance didnt get me anything either, but we cant afford things. But he told me happy mothers day as soon as he woke up and he was extra sweet and romantic! :)
My bf ddnt give me cards or flowers but he has given me what i have been waiting for forever. My little boy thts due in two months. He also cooks for me anytime im hungry puts up with all my crazy hormones and all my weird habits. Sometimes i forget tht weve been together for almost four years. Hah sometimes it hits me when i realize how comfortable he is being a complete dork around me. Cant wait to see him be a dork at his little boy :)
Sounds like my hubby. His unconditional love and support is way more valuable than any material possessions. I didn't get flowers or a card either but I got breaksfast grom Bob Evans in bed and I got to spend the whole day with my loves. We truly are blessed
One of the best comments I've read about mothers day ;) I agree with you 100% I love my hubby to bits n I don't expect anything more from him. As long as he is by my side every other day other than mothers day then that's all that matters <3
