That is your own pulse you are feeling. Baby's heart simply isn't big enough at 6 weeks for you to feel it. I'm almost 18 weeks and just starting to feel baby move.
I've was able to feel my babies heartbeat at about 10 weeks (if I was laying on my back and found the right spot). The way I could tell it was hers was finding my pulse in my neck and hers was much faster!
You can't feel your baby's heartbeat. Ask any doctor.

I had heavy bleeding and cramping and ended up in ER and was 5 weeks 6 days pregnant. We were able to see heartbeat but Dr said that's rare. They usually can't see heart beat till little after 6 weeks! I had a severe subchorionic hematoma that put me on bed rest and other ER visits inwhich the Dr said wed probably lose the baby. But here we are now with 39 days to go and baby is just fine! If Youre not bleeding I wouldn't be worried! Good luck!

I had this with my last pregnancy, except I did have bleeding. I was 5w6d and there was nothing yet. I went back at 8 weeks and there was a beating heart!  My baby is now 7.5 months and absolutely perfect. Good luck!!

I read some articleand some mother said that their babies only have the heart beat from the 8th or 10th week. So don't you be worry so much about it; might your baby' heart beat is a little bit late. Worrying is not good for the baby also. Hope you and your baby will be fine.

This is very common! I found out I was pregnant and thought I was around 4 weeks. Turns out I was 11 weeks pregnant! And at that appt they couldn't find a heart beat. So they set me up one at 12 weeks with an ultrasound and the baby was fine with a very clear heartbeat that time.

When i was pregnant with my second child i had very heavy bleeding. We went to the er and they told me i was probably having a miscarriage. They didn't see a heart beat but saw the baby. My son is now 17 months with no health issues and the rest of the pregnancy went very well

It's still early and the dating could be slightly off. No need to panic at all!!!

I apologize about that..  Babies grow at different rates because of your body..  It's not uncommon to hear that there's no heartbeat..  Always get a second opinion
