No longer good role model!
Got "fired" as a youth group counselor at my church because I am pregnant and not married and they don't want the kids to think that this is appropriate behavior! I am so mad! I couldn't believe that! I put my time and energy every week into something I don't even get paid for and I love these kids! Really upset right now!
But judging and firing is appropriate. Smh. 2ndtimes first sentence says it all.
Why is it that the people that are not supposed to be judgmental are the worst? The church I grew up in would do the same thing. We were not allowed to listen to rock and roll music and no 2 piece bathing suits at any youth function. We were not even allowed to dance! But guess what? I can name several of the elders who's children got pregnant out of wedlock. I had to giggle. That will teach them to judge!
I would too thats not right for you to be judged like that they should be supportive no matter what
I know! I'm so mad! It's been my church since I was little and now I feel embarrassed to go back!
Wow im sorry. I highly doubt the kids see you as a horrible role model. You have put so much into that program and that's wrong to take it away from you like that
