Not so much a question, just need some reassurance.

So after three weeks of increasing pain and discomfort, loosing my mucus plug and dilating to 2cm the doctors have come to the conclusion I'm  in really slow pre-labour. As I'm only 35 weeks this is good news (we obviously don't want the baby to be born prematurely) however, I'm also concerned that once I reach 37 weeks things will continue to progress slowly and I won't be able to have my baby naturally. It's such a mixture of emotions; glad my little one may make it full term but worried I'll have to have intervention during labour.

Thank you :-) I'm worried because, writing an essay, my body is trying to go into established labour but the contractions I've been having non stop for three weeks are taking a very long time to do anything. Like I said it's a good thing at the moment, I just hope when the time comes after 37 weeks my contractions actually do what they are meant to.

I think your fine. You still have 5 weeks left. Your farther along then me and I'm 38 weeks. I'm only at 1 cm and 50% effaced. 2 cm at 35 weeks seems to be great progression, don't see why you think it's going to be slow going.
