The skin of your stomach? Or internally?
Yes! I'm 38 weeks too, and this happens to me at night also, it goes up into my chest and I feel like I can't breath! It's horrible, I've also been going into false labor the last 2 days. First day contractions were 20 mins apart for hrs, then stopped. Second day which was today, contractions were 10 minutes apart for hrs, then stopped. I feel you, I'm so swollen now, in pain and can barely walk, my baby girl is already 9 pounds! I'm miserable....
Yea it's internally to me it feels like what ppl describe as a contraction except it doesn't go away n come back it stays tight for hours until I lay down n go to sleep then my belly feels normal when I wake up
I have had that before but if I changed my position of sleep or moved around. Even though it hurt, the pain would stop after a little while. If that works for you.... My Dr told me that it's part of braxton Hicks contractions. Very common. Especially later in pregnancy.
