wondering

Well I need too know is it okaay to douche because I have had sex a couple of times and usually I would do it after sex but now I'm not to sure because they say it can cause miscarriages etc.  And im 13 weeks and 4 days so I just need to know if you can still so it still stay fresh I'm not sure

Don't use talc powder. It increases the risk of ovarian and cervical cancers.

Douching can give you a UTI also avoid it

I was told by my obgyn that douching causes yeast nd bacterial infections

I agree, douching isn't good for you. And certainly not whilst pregnant! The vagina is a self cleaning organ there's really no need to. Like shytype23 said it can affect your ph balance and imbalances can lead to infection. Stick to wipes or external washes for freshness if you need to :)

You shouldn't douche or use Vagasil. Neither is good for you. Pregnant or not

Sprinkling baby powder or a feminine powder in your panties will help too and panty lines if you have leakage

I was told always never to do that because of it messing up our ph balance that was before pregnancy so I wouldn't do it being pregnant either especially if the risk is miscarriage. Just use the Summer's Eve feminine wash or other brand. That would be better. They have sprays and wipes for additional freshness

No. Douching really isnt good for you pregnant or not pregnant to be honest. If you was with feminine wash you really have no need to douche period... your body has a natural way of cleaning
