advice please?

I am 39+2 weeks pregnant and I have had no internal exams or anything, my last scan was at 20 weeks and since about 35 weeks I have been seeing my midwife every two weeks. At these appointments all she does is check my urine (which at 38+5 was +protein) checks my blood pressure, has a quick feel and listens to heart beat for 20/30 seconds. I am just a bit worried that she is not being very thorough and I  am not due to see anyone now till I am almost a week overdue
overdue. I have also not been weighted since 12 weeks. Is all this normal or should I be concerned?

I have 2 kids and am on my 3rd pregnancy, and have still never been weighed or had an internal check! They're not always necessary. And all those checks are what my midwife does too, and they are all that's needed in an uncomplicated, normal pregnancy, but you can always try asking for more if you're worried about anything. (I don't like outside interference so I'm very glad I've found a health professional who is relaxed and happy to let my body do it's own thing.)
