Im 29 weeks pregnant. Today I got my stomach waxed. My baby boy started to kick and move to where the wax strips were. It was like he was rubbing against the strips And ttrying to push them off.   It was so awesome to see and feel. Has anyone else experienced your baby playing with you?

I'm with you BonitaMichelle my doc has delivered 5 out of 7 of my kids and then this one... So i know he wouldn't tell me something that wasn't true. And he also says a glass of wine is perfectly fine red wine to be exact.

It wasnt hot wax.  The sun is hotter than wax.  The baby was reacting to the touch as he does with other things.  It awesome to feel him so aware.

I decided at 8 weeks my body is a strong shelter for my baby.  I dont worry about silly things like waxing or a glass of wine or Tylenol.

Well when i asked my dr he said no. The reason we can't do hot tubs is because of the risk of our cervix being opened a little and we could get infections there. I asked him about sex, waxing and other things.

My baby girl plays with her daddy. He does the flashlight thing with her and she actually follows the light. And then hits on the belly when its gone! While I'm at work, she kicks as if she's hitting my desk! I find myself talking and playing with her all the time. We also play kicksies, where I pat my belly when she kicks and she reacts to it... I love it :)

Did you ask your doctor if waxing your stomach was ok before you did it?

Babies actually can feel the type of intense heat from hot wax... thats why they say you should take only warm baths not hot. Yea, it sounds like it was def not very comfortable for the baby, not even playing.

They can't feel hot wax... You're stomach is made up of layers and layers aAND the baby is in the placenta surrounded in amniotic fluid.

But yeah my little clover does that too especially when my bf puts his hands on my belly he'll kick it off,. Its the cutest thing ever. I think he'll be feisty one. Lol

Not a very bright idea putting hot wax on your stomach,i seriously doubt that was playful behaviour from your baby :/

I don't think its a good idea to do stomach waxing while your baby is there. .. :-(

Maybe the baby was uncomfortable .. The heat and pain of waxing
