Possibilty of gender being wrong?

At my 20 week ultrasound, we found out that we were having a littlr girl, though the lady was having a really hard time seeing because she had her legs crossed. After trying to get her to move and stuff, she thought she seen the 3 little lines and went with it being a girl. I'm pretty sure of the gender, but my boyfriend isn't so sure of it and it's making me wonder if anyone has ever been told one gender and later found out the opposite?

We had another scan yesterday and the docs CONFIRMED he is definitely a big boy lol...He had his hands on it and the lady laughed...also I tried the intelligender test twice with the same results and our scan confirmed those results were right so was worth the money for me. :)

I've been researching like crazy. Those 3 lines everyone seems to depend on doesn't always mean girl!!! Baby boys apparently can have those same 3 lines. Google it a lot of people post about it. I have a daughter already and I went and check out her old ultrasound and she only had 2lines. I think its more that the tech have to look for to determine gender besides those lines.

Three lines and it looks like a hamburger it's a girl if it looks like a turtle it's a boy. But if I were you and the tech was unsure I would get another ultrasound done just to make sure

My cousin was told she was having a girl. Didn't find out until she was delivering that it was a boy. Her husband came out crying, we thought something terrible happened... all he said was "IT'S A BOY"...I've never seen someone so happy in all my life... haha

If there was three white lines then its a girl. Boys would not have 3 white lines

We found out through a blood test at 12 weeks that we were having a boy. I have friends who had to depend on an US and have had that happen to them. My doctors office offered me a blood test when they were doing the screening for downsyndrome and all the trisome abnormality stuff so we have been completely sure all this time!

Yep that happened to my best friend she was told girl at her 20 week anatomy scan then at 28 weeks...oh sorry its a biy. She was devastated because she had already picked a name and got lots of girls things....I had a scan at a regular scanning centre on the 17th of Feb and we were told boy (after being told previously we cant have boys) the lady was pretty sure and showed us some "bits" and the hospital specialist now wants us to go into the hospital this friday 27th for another more detailed scan and im worried they are going to say its a girl after we have gotten so excited from the first scan so i know how you feel there...im hoping we have been blessed with our first son and our 3 older girls would love having a baby brother to dote on too.

They usually don't do another ultrasound so if you're unsure you might have to pay for one.
